How many holsters can the ModRig actually hold?
There are six attachment slots on the front panel, and every one of them will take a holster,pouch, or pocket.
Placement matters more than count, though. Anything with depth — pouches, external ModPockets, and a few of the tool holsters — sits best on the lower slots, or needs an empty slot beneath it.
How do the internal pockets work?
Every ModRig ships with one internal ModPocket already installed — phone-sized, ready to go.
Inside the ModRig is a full velcro panel, so internal ModPockets can be added, moved, or pulled out entirely whenever your carry changes. The flap locks down over the top to keep everything in place.
There's room for two full-size pockets, or one full-size plus a half pocket or two, depending on how you want to divide it up.
Will it fit me?
The harness is removable and adjustable. You can adjust it to ride higher or lower depending on your preference.

It's now an essential item. Even without a tool belt, I can do most tasks with just this. Everything I normally put in a tool belt fits in this chest pack, and when absolutely necessary, I use it in conjunction with a modular belt. I've used various things, but it can be used with a harness, and it makes hand-held tasks incredibly easy.
Among other things, install window treatments, shelving, art etc. I’ve always hated tool belts. They’re heavy and bang into walls. I was looking for a slick, professional way to carry a few specific tools around the job. The Mod Vest is perfect. Very happy with this purchase.

This vest has been an absolute joy to use. For the past year I've had to wear company issued arc-flash overalls which have no proper pockets for my tools. I'm also working off a mobile boom quite a lot, making the lack of tool pockets an intolerable chore. This vest fits over my harness and the webbing has provided me with ample options on how to set to work. My favourite feature is probably the top and side accessible velcro space behind the front panel where I can stash larger items like pipe grips my notebook, phone, pens, gum and I once even had a small pack of gummy bears hidden in there for me and my buddy to snack on when things were slow. It's a bit of wedge to drop on a holster system, but i cannot fault the quality or the utility. Holstery have thoroughly thought this design through - I'm glad I bought it.

Have been installing a lot of tile in the last year or so and it is great to have all the tools I need on my chest.
It was a little steep but definitely worth it! It's way more comfortable than hanging stuff from my waist. And I'm really digging the magnets attachments.

I do pest control and wanted something flat for my lights and to keep my pockets empty. I was using a sling bag before. This mod rig holster vest is exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable for all day.

Works great I’m a plumber installing plumbing systems on high-rise buildings in Jersey constantly up and down ladders this works very well especially if you’re someone whose pants don’t stay up LOL this is perfect. You don’t have to have anything in your pocket. It’s all on the chest rig.

Awesome Product! The chest rig has almost completely eliminated my tool belt. I’m a commercial electrician and I wear this all day and don’t have to worry about getting caught getting in and out of scissor lifts anymore. Did add some reflective strips since being in commercial work they require some high vis.

Outstanding! Impressive versatility
Biggest issue is the perforated section that touches the wearer is not breathable at all. You end up hot and sweating right through your shirt almost immediately.

I haven’t really tried it yet but I’m happy with the purchase since it fits better than I expected. Hard to find stuff my size since I’m tall and skinny. The company I work for wants apprentices to carry tools and tool belt but I don’t like wearing a tool belt so this will keep my boss happy if I’m wearing it. If I had to criticize it I have hard time removing my Joey pouch from the mod rig. Would be nice if these pouches were easier to remove from the mod slots themself. I give it a 5 star since it really does make you feel lighter while carrying a lot of tools and you can load it up heavy or light.

Love the rig best tool set up I've ever used
After roughly a year of everyday use, I feel naked without it. It has everything I need, and nothing I don’t. Highly customizable with thier accessories and easy to modify for your own purposes. Their magnetic attachments and tape measure clip are essential. I also added Bluetooth remotes for my Festool dust extractors. So nice and accessible. 10/10 would recommend to any tradesman.

Got the chest rig to see if it would be less heat restrictive than my other vests and I really am liking its light weight, size and it does not feel as hot. Fits the tools I use and I can carry a carpenter square when I need it. Phone can fit in there so I can listen to music or audio book and I have room to add another magnet or maybe a hook. The straps don't pinch at the neck and it has adjustability in the straps for nice placement. Thanks Holstery.

Works great for my needs! I am a gardener/landscaper. I was always carrying my main tools in my pockets but switching between them/digging around in pockets/things falling out/tearing holes in clothes was not ideal. When I saw a picture of something like this I knew I had to have one. It makes it easy to switch back and forth between tools much faster & now I can carry around extra materials without losing them or setting them down. Especially useful on a ladder or otherwise limited position! I do feel my mid-back muscles working harder but it is usually my lower back that suffers so I think this is better/ I will get used to it.
These tool holsters carry everything I need and more. The mod slots on the chest rig are very helpful and let me even out the load so that my tools are not all on my belt.

I had wanted to try this system out for a long time, after a back injury I was beyond ready to get the weight of my tools off my waist and my hips, so I finally decided a month ago to make the switch and my only regret has been not buying the belt at the same time, the clips all work with my existing belt but I know there would be benefits to the mod belt now that I’m using this. I use my tape on my Jolly Roger cus it did slip off when on my chest but there is a major weight difference in what I’m carrying on the job and I really like that I can swap my tools out job by job because I am always doing something different from framing, to cabinet install, decking, tile, drywall, you never know.
