These clips as stated above, are extremely sturdy. Almost too sturdy actually. hooking and unhooking these things from the ripbelt is no, "one handed" feat that I was expecting. I could barely remove the clips with two hands while wearing the belt, that's how well the retention clips lived up to their job. I honestly was disappointed at first, but I took matters into my own hands and tried to "bend" the retention clips that kept getting snagged on the belt, and they snapped off. I filed them down and fixed my one handed removal problem. Honestly the clips still have great retention and will not come off unless I want them too. If I would have known this prior, I probably would have bought the plastic clips and saved over $150. Anyways, great product for my needs now! Magnet is incredibly strong btw.
I was given one some time ago then found one going in the trash with a broken clip. I decided to check for a replacement clip and found one. Now I have two and I’m very satisfied.

Left my brand new mag pro in the bag on top of my car and drove away. It got run over multiple times and ONLY broke the steel clip. Replaced that and it’s back in action!!
