The square holder works perfectly. I am having an issue with the tape measure holder - the tape measure falls out when I bend over to pick up stuff. I have a bit of a gut - so that must be it (LOL). I have had to rotate the tape measure holder almost to the back so that I do not lose it when I drop something. I switch between my tape measure and square frequently - so having them handy is very helpful. I am a DIYer, but I DO like this setup better than any tool belt I have had over many years. Love it, I used to have to designate a pocket in one of my pouches for it. Which was fine but it falls out when bending to get in a tight spot, or I would have to move it to grt what ever fasteners I had in that pocket everytime I needed some. Now it is secure and I have a free pocket for fasteners

The Builders Kit is exactly what I need for quick load-outs. The profile of the rig is so small that I don't brush up against any finishes or get hung up in a stud bay.
The perfect layout match for a production framer and remodel is the square master paired with the drive master on the rear. NEVER falls off and is 1 motion for measure, mark rhythm.
My old modified CLC Signature Framer bags that have a diamond back hammer and prybar holster and occidental suspenders.... The Holstery rig is MUCH lighter than my original set up for remodel and framing

I’m a renovation carpenter in Missoula Montana and we stay real busy out here. Im on a small crew of talented professionals that produce top notch quality work. I’ve been rocking the Occidental trim bags for some time now, and they really are perfect. Before I found Holstery, I was thinking of putting together a light duty rig, as many jobs(tyvek, siding, trim, decks, windows, demo etc) don’t require carrying all the goods. I skeptically pulled the trigger on two big joeys, Jolly Roger, three mags, square master, tape master and the drill hook. I got the og mod belt and at first was very apprehensive, I was wearing it over my vest and all the tools slid around and the square seemed like a total miss as it was riding high. Then I put the belt in my pant loops as weather got warmer, and after a little t&e, I found the sweet spot. So far I haven’t used the oxys for about two weeks. Everything is high quality, high function and comfortable. I can easily pull and replace the square without looking, the mags are a game changer, you just have to be careful not to overload em, joeys are fantastic and I love closing my bags to keep out the riff raff, Jolly Roger is most excellent, tape and drill holders work just fine and everything is interchangeable, just what you need. Of coarse all my co workers have given me a healthy amount of shit for trying something new. One of the guys came up joking about me dropping stuff on his head, tried to swat some screw’s off the mag and couldn’t, tried swatting a flat bar off a mag and couldn’t and tried knocking my square out and couldn’t. At that moment I could see the envy in his eyes😂 once it’s back in stock I’m going to snag a rip belt for over jacket days(slotted for no tool slide), and I heard word of a back pad which would be pretty slick for that. Long story short, it’s a quality, functional and bad ass rig. Don’t think it’s a full replacement for heavy duty days, but for most of what I do, it’s a very easy choice! Cheers to Holstery!

Great holder for my aluminium squares, but the plastic squares (with a thicker base) get caught up on the dome head screw. Hopefully in later versions you can find a way of affixing the spring that does not have the big bump where you're trying to slide the square.

Totally worth it. They really hit a home run with this thing. Only cons are it has a plastic clip instead of a metal one. Should offer a replacement metal clip or a pro model. The plastic clip is a little more loose in the jolly Roger which really only seems to effect larger rubber grip hammers on occasion.

The clip plate is made of plastic, which stretches under strains and does not come back to original shape. I had to use cable ties to peoperly fix to the belt. Plate on the hinge with the screw at the bottom to clamp the holster and yhe clip around the belt would be much better.

Have the the side pouch.. Love it . Wish I had another!! Tried my old pouches after and an immediately took off n put holster back on ..speed square holler is awesome.. Used to use my back pocket, but this is smooth never in my way either. I see lots of comments about people/hating on it and saying West your big boy pouch... Well I was almost paralyzed last year, and fine need to wear 300 lbs of sh*t I only use half of ..I find this rig to be outstanding for smaller jobs. Just wish I had a second one for the other side. Excellent item here. I'm currently running the 701 diamondback but the holstery attachments are better quality in my opinion so running them for most of my pouches. Stronger attachments, more robust construction. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you want lighter duty if you're switching up repeatedly. This square master makes you feel like a samurai each time to whip it out. Makes a 'schwing' sounds like a sword coming out. Now all the chicks on the construction site are losing it every time I pull it out. Biggest issue I'm having is what to do with all these panties they're throwing at me. Great job holstery!
